Game Summary:
Infected is a top-down strategical RPG where you play as a stem cell inside an infected patient's body. Through turn-based combat and shooting, this fun but educational game can provide valuable entertainment. The game takes place inside a fantasy world inspired by the human body.
Game Controls:
To enter full screen, click the expand icon on the bottom right.
- Up/Down/Left/Right Keys for 8 directional movement
- Aim with the mouse and left click/click space to shoot a target
- Hold shift to dash
- R for radius attack
- Click on one of the 3 battle cards during duels to heal/attack/special attack
Game Story:
"In a jungle not many people know of, a Colony has existed for centuries. Groups of scientists have dedicated their lives to researching historic viruses.
As their work remains secretive, nobody has gone in or out for ages, lowering their genetic diversity and increasing their susceptibility to foreign pathogens.
The leader of the Colony, Clarimond, recently fell out with the secretary, Hans, so he burnt down the Historical Diseases wing. It was with good intentions, but still…
As soon as the fire touched the glass, the containers cracked, releasing the bacteria into the Colony. Unfortunately, Clarimond happened to take a detour to the Historical Diseases wing just as the fire started… thankfully she was quickly escorted to a hospital, but was it soon enough?
In a state of panic, the Colony invites you, a foreign researcher, to help save Clarimond (in fear that others will be severely harmed). With the help of your trusty canine companion, J, you battle the plagues as a stem cell in Clarimond's body.

Inspiration:
Most educational games that we find out there tend to be boring and are no match for the AAA games we play for fun. We wanted to show that we can provide the perfect balance of entertainment and education. We were also very interested in biology and wanted to share this knowledge with the world.
