Game Summary:

Our game is about a character named Azule, who was abandoned by her parents. When her parents send her a message via their giant technological horse, she learns that she is the only hybrid between humans and azaleans (an alien species) and she must choose which of her parents to live with: her azalean father or human mother. Along the way, she will learn about the history of the humans and azaleans by reading the ancient scrolls throughout the dark forest and space. Eventually, she will be forced to choose a side, and it may have greater implications than she can imagine.

Game Story:

The protagonist is a hybrid character between azaleans and humans. She must choose a side to support to end the war between azaleans and humans.

The protagonist’s mother and father abandoned their child because of the war, and now they live in separate shelters, one for the humans and one for the azaleans.

Inspiration:

Madeline had been planning a game about aliens for a long time, and she was excited to get a professional artist to help bring her aliens to life. That’s part of why she suggested the game focus on aliens.

We also wanted to make a game that didn’t make one side, aliens OR humans, the definitive bad guys.

About the Creators:

We like bread, demons, and bread demons (and other inside jokes). Elora is the kool kid, Ellie is the chaos Azalean, Madeline is the silent anime enthusiast, and Stuti is the surgical bookworm (Dr. D Capitate).
