Game Summary:

Our game is a murder mystery game similar to the board game clue where there's a murderer and it's your job as the player to discover who they are.

Game Controls:

• WASD to move around
• Mouse to look around
• Tab to open Dossier menu
• Escape to pause the game or to quit
• Shift to crouch
• Left click to interact with objects, rotate clues, etc.
• Right click to put a clue back down

Game Story:

Jenna McCliffin is the bride to be who was murdered during her engagement party. She was to be married to John. The rest of the dinner party are all suspects and you'll learn more about their secret lives and possible motives as you discover each clue.

Inspiration:

Alyssa wanted a digital version of the board game clue and thought it would be fun to write a murder mystery. We had other ideas, like an obstacle course, but thought this would be more interesting and we could be more creative.

How to download and play (Windows):

• Download the standard .zip file using the download link
• Extract the .zip file onto your PC
• Run the game file GMG_MurderMystery.exe

How to download and play (Mac):
Unreal games do not work very well on Mac due to heavy graphics. If you'd like to try playing on your Mac, follow the steps below:

• Download the Mac .zip file using the download link
• Open the downloaded .zip file in your Downloads folder
• Double Click: _GMG_MurderMystery.app

If an error saying "cannot be opened because the developer cannot be verified" pops up. Perform the following...

• Click the "?" on the top right of the error window
• Under Protect your Mac from malware, click Open the general panel for me then unlock the preference panel to open Security & Privacy. 
• Close the error window using the cancel button. 
• Click Open Anyway under the Security & Privacy window.
• Enter your Mac username and password into the System Preferences window then click Modify settings, then Open.
